OBRA Creates Dedicated Fund

Salem, Ore.- The Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) is announcing that they have created a new fund dedicated to junior racing.  They have seeded this fund with $5,000 for the 2015 year and will be looking to industry partners to make an investment in growing juniors in OBRA.

“We are excited to be able to create a dedicated fund for juniors, and to seed the fund with money for 2015,” says Executive Director Kenji Sugahara.  “This is an exciting time for juniors in OBRA and we are looking forward to seeing what our Junior Coordinator Joel Fletcher can create with this new fund.”

OBRA is currently working on revamping the entire junior racing program in partnership with racing adults, juniors and industry partners.  “The community is what is going to make this successful,” says Joel Fletcher.  “We have also launched our website dedicated to junior racing.”
